C.V. Pieter Arets
Pieter started working as a business engineer in consultative selling, implementing soft and hardware solutions for a variety of industrial companies (in Automotive, Cosmetic, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Electronic Industries). After a career in business logistics he entered the energy trade market. For over a decade Pieter gained detailed knowledge and understanding of financial instruments being involved in managing exposures to commodity price and interest rate fluctuations (involving structured deals, futures and derivatives for gas, oil and power).
He has extensive experience in working with C-level directors, but also with risk managers, IT specialists, lawyers, financial & operation auditors (IFRS) and business consultants. In 2014 he started his own company developing sustainable IT solutions for the brokerage process in real estate markets. Since 2018 he is member of the Board of Directors of IMT.
Pieter holds a master’s degree in business science and a bachelor’s degree in business logistics.
